It seems more like a healthy debate about the known facts to me.

Isn't that what discussion forums are for?

Here's the way I look at it. Some here say that the survival rate of coronavirus is 99%, that may be true when taking the whole population into consideration. The percentage is severely lowered by age and underlying conditions though, a 70 year old with COPD does not have a 99% chance of living, nor does a 70 year old with no underlying conditions.

Do I risk myself to a virus that is known to kill? It has done so on well over a million times so far in about 7 or 8 months. Those are the facts as I see them. So my determination is; do I, as a 63 year old with underlying conditions go about my normal daily business in the assumption that I wont get it and if I do, wont die or get seriously ill?

Or, do I take a vaccine that has not killed or made anyone ill at this moment in time under extreme testing and observation and seems to have a good chance of negating the virus? Now, I also have to gamble on the long term effects of these vaccines, no one knows how they will effect people in a year, two years or longer. I will take that gamble, to me, I have a better chance of surviving the vaccine than the virus.

Spoiler alert, I'm a very simple man with a very simplistic way of viewing things. If some one with a good argument can convince me to see it differently from how I do above, I would have no problem changing my mind when it comes to a life or death situation. Especially mine.

If I was in my 20's or 30's, my view may be different.

Your assessment is spot on. No one can produce a valid argument to the contrary, based on the available evidence.

Let me help you out with this.

c*ck fighting = words or statements that walds11 disagrees with or dislikes

There you go.
