Dssd Flipping

I wonder how many of these are going to be flipped becasue they are too big. I think the thing to do prior to taking delivery is go to Sears and buy one of those gigantic Citizen divers, then go buy a generic sort of steel bracelet. Wear them together for a week or so. Then go get the dssd.

anyone with enough cash to throw on a DSSD should have enough
brains to see the watch in person before buying, instead of crying
out later about it ...

I get to test drive my rolex watches for 48 hours before I throw in the cash. (stickers stay on & links adjusted by the store).

It's kind of funny, for years critics have said they wanted a larger case on a Rolex, well it's here now and I am really curious how this watch will do. I still want to see it first, the bracelet seems way out of proportion to me.

I wonder how many will regret flipping what they had once they wear it a while. I can't imagine it would be all that comfy. Way to chunky for me, but to each his own.

I agree

They are cool looking watches, but I do not see how most will find one practical for wear, suitable for a saturation diver while working etc.. but I can see for much else.
I did not think the old model SD was comfortable enough for daily wear IMOP. I tried 3x....

I've been wearing the old one for 6 months now and I am completely satisifed with it as a daily wearer. Any more top-heavy would be bad, though. Maybe a strip of lead tape on the clasp would do the trick, though.

I like quite heavy watches, I wear them loose, my SD is perfect for me.

Some of us LIKE wearing big watches

I don't like the writing on the rehaut, or the idea that the dial is really no larger on the DEEPSEA than my GMT Master, but I LOVE the idea of a larger Seadweller or Submariner. I wish Rolex would step up to 44 mm and lose the rehaut completely and fill the space with a larger, legible, high lume, low advertising dial. But frankly lots of people have been waiting for a larger Rolex and this watch will sell like hotcakes.
