DSSD fit

Quick one - how are people finding the fit of the DSSD with a dress shirt? Any pics of wearing it with a button cuff?

Thanks!

Sorry to hear.not an easy thing to go through...the sub is a classic and hopefully looking down at it once in a while will keep you positive. best of luck, and my best to you through all of that.

I think it's a tad big for a formal occasion IMO. With a button cuff it will pucka up slightly. With a double cuff and cufflinks it should be fine. However expect all eyes to be on your wrist and not your £200 shirt!!!!!

All depends on the shirt. Some of my shirts clear, while others don't. I had to wear a suit today (pretty rare for me) and it worked perfectly (since the dress shirt I wore had just enough room for it to clear).

Usually when I have to wear any button down dress shirt it's still in a very casual setting and I usually fold the cuffs anyway...so the watch I wear is never really a thought/issue. If I had to wear my suits on a daily basis I don't think the DSSD would be my daily wearer. Thankfully for me, that's not the case and therefore I'm having a blast never taking it off my wrist. Cheers.

Been my experience as well. Now I just tear the sleeve off and it works fine.

I had a button cuff dress shirt when I tried the DSSD on. It would not fit under. Maybe those that have two buttons?

I had a shirt made to measure for my wedding day. Whilst I was being measured up the tailor noticed my watch (Omega Speedmaster that day) and asked if it was the watch I normally wear. I told him yes so he offered to make my left cuff a little larger to make it easier to look at the watch.

A nice touch but I guess that's Savile Row for you..that said I think my wedding outfit is the only clothing I own without Gap on the label and I never have to worry about my watch not fitting under a T-shirt!

I guess it might fit under a cuff if you have a large cuff size or tiny wrists..

I have a 7.5 inch wrist and wear a 17x35 shirt.........even with french cuffs, it's a very tight fit if at all, and absolutely will not fit under the typical Polo type button cuff...
