Unique Offer from AD

Greetings,

I visited my AD to pick one of my watches that arrived from the service centre. They showed me a table Clock that they had little knowledge about. Note that this is a Patek Philippe boutique so the clock is authentic. They said there is little information about it.

I found two websites that had similar clocks. the only difference is the one I was offered had a white quartzite dial (see the Sothebys link. The exact same dial).

https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auct...-010-a-limited

The clock I was offered was blue, similar to the picture below but with a different dial.

I found out the line is called "The Hour Circle".

What do you think about it? Would you buy it if it was offered to you? Anyone knows anything about this line?

Personally, I would have no interest in this.

I honestly don't remember as I was not interested when it was offered to me. It was quite expensive.

They were released part of the 2021 Rare Handcrafts collection, the year of the 5236P and 6119. In blue, orange or purple. There was an additional Geneva streets map as well.

"25002M « La Ronde des Heures » / Flinqué enamel table clock with white quartzite dial

In tribute to the circular dance of the hours on the dials and the rotation of the movement gears, Patek Philippe has created a table clock featuring an original style based on circles and curves, offering an original reading of time on the upper side of the timepiece.

This atypical design, with a polished steel structure and five rounded feet echoing the shape of the case, is enhanced by the traditional flinqué enamel technique, creating beautiful depth and light effects. The two domed circular sides, in silver, are adorned with a “barley grain” pattern, then enameled in a transparent shade of blue. The dial is in white quartzite. The trapeze-shaped hands and polished pointed-baton type applied hour-markers are distinguished by their split-level design, which subtly echoes the two-tier bezel.

This piece is powered by the caliber 17’’’ PEND TABLE mechanical movement rewound by an electric motor."

Surprised anything like is available. I thought all that type of stuff was spoken for early on.

It's very nice. The auction estimate was $60'000 to $110'000 USD.
If that kind of money is inconsequential to you go for it

I am like clocks, I have a few nice ones. But there's no way I could put that kind of money out for one.

I personally love it but don’t have enough funds for something super random like this and would prefer a dome clock with enamel motives

You would definitely need the correct style house for this to be worth the purchase.
