This model seems to be quite popular...and I can see why. Congratulations!

Love that dial, although I am curious do you ever find it difficult to read in dimmer light with the semi-dark background and the dark romans?

My new DJ II
Yes the slate dial with green Roman numerals beckoned me too. Very distinctive! I was torn between it and the one I actually went with. Pic attached.

I own a DJ2 steel with blue arabic numbers for more than a year now. I replaced the dial to a dark blue stick dial for the winter. I just love this watch.
So much, that I also bought a TT DJ2. The one with black dial and really fat gold roman numerals. It will be coming in next friday. Can't wait!

If you've already got a TT, I would go for a sport model for everyday wear. Sub or gmt perhaps?

arh yea it was a hard choice between explorer II and another TT, but i made my mind for another TT,
besides i already have tag aquaracer for really sport purposes.. it is very light and handy.. dont really like sub/gmt/daytona models... overtime the simplest looking watch is the one that really works for me, within 0.30-0.50 second glance i know what time and date it is with TT.. i like the daydate white gold very much but the price gap is just too much for me.. |
