Mechanical watch for 11$???
Hi Guys, I wish you all a great new year 2016, hope you will have joy, happiness and health.
I found this website, how is it possible to make 3$ quartz watches, and more surprisingly how is it possible to make a 11$ auto wind one, which IMO is not awful, not saying I would buy it but if I was offered it t play soccer with my son or things like that why not… Here's the site http://www.gearbest.com/men-s-watche..._content=42283 And here's the page with the auto movement which really I find not so bad, I'm even wondering if I won't get 2 or 3 like this I can with the help of internet take them apart and get to see how it really works, ok I have a basic idea but being able to open one and play with it is different, especially if you have still 2 or 3 in stock to continue the study http://www.gearbest.com/men-s-watches/pp_102991.html What do you guys think, and have any of you already bought cheap mechanical watches to do what I want to do? Cheers and again HAPPY NEW YEAR |

Happy new year
Don't think it will be a very reliable movement. But for disassembling and figuring out how a movement works should be fine. My cheap mechanical watches are Seiko, but they are rock solid and make excellent beaters. |

it always amazes me how they can produce and sell a quartz watch , for less than the price most of us pay retail for on a single battery , or a clasp , or a strap , but you get the whole heap for less than a single component , know bulk buy , no packages etc ,,, but its still crazy.. and again , how many folk need to get profit out of the three dollars , the watch must cost cents ,, amazing world.
