Sapphire Sandwich Incoming
Have had my eye on this one for the better part of 5 years and something has always come up to keep me from pulling the trigger. Finally, in a position that I could treat myself. This will join my GMT IIc and IWC 377710 in my small, albeit growing collection.

Congrats, you don’t see these pop up for sale too often it seems. I picked one up after months debate right after Christmas.

After doing a little research, it looks like you can buy a clasp and end links from omega that would normally go on the seamaster bracelet and retrofit it onto the speedy. The seamaster clasp has 3-5 detents built into it that allow you to quickly adjust the size.

Great buy. Every serious collection needs at least one Speedmaster. A very comfortable watch to wear with a very unobtrusive dial design, a rarity for a chronograph. I definitely recommend the micro adjustable clasp, mine came w8th my Speedmaster.

Where can one find this micro adjustment clasp ? I have the earlier clasp style, 98-99 model watch (no push in tabs). Mine fits somewhat snug on a 6.8 wrist and I don’t have any spare links unfortunately. Was sold to me w the original box and warranty card though. Good to hear on such a thing.

Thanks! I totally agree with you. One of my favorite characteristics about the watch is just how legible the dial is.
