<><><> Misty Mountain Stop<><><>

Passing through Montana , on my way to Washington state
and back ... Coming back decided to stop in Missoula MT. for a
bite to eat and explore some local artisan craft drinks...
Had the “ Matador “ stuffed burrito ... OMG , it didn’t survive.
No leftovers or take out here , I was starving ...
A nice local scotch ale brew to pair with just delicious.
I know I know , should’ve had maybe a margarita but as they
are big on local craft brews the margarita was not an option...
Sporting the SD4K as it blends in with the snowy scenery quite well, here are
some pics ...

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do ...

I've oftened wondered what average people are thinking when they see us in public taking photos of our watches. Nice photo collage!

Yes , it was quite delicious and I skipped lunch ...
As WIS’s we really don’t care what others may think as we take
memorable pics of our prized possessions... Don’t we ?

Very cool (literally). What's the coldest temp you've seen? I made the drive once from Minnesota to Portland, by way of Spokane, in December. According to my car's thermometer, the coldest temp I saw was -15F one early morning west of Bismark. I was in the car, though, so I didn't feel it. The coldest I felt outside was probably -5. That was cold enough.

I was also impressed by how well the highways are managed in North Dakota and Montana. As soon as I hit Idaho, there was no more salting, and things got a LOT gnarlier.

He he , coldest I hit was -28 F on my truck temp reading .
Was just before Kemmerer Wyoming on US 30 a few years ago ...
I didn’t stop to feel the outside temp ...
Coldest outside temp I felt was in Elkhart IN Off
I-80 at -15 with the windshield factor it was more
like -30 to -40 ... I will never forget that night ...
I broke down at the service plaza off 80 in Elkhart...
My fuel gelled up and clogged my filters ...

Yes, it was... I almost opted for jalapeño bacon cheeseburger ...
Although I figured I couldn’t go wrong since I was advised it was
a local favorite...
