Rolex Authorised Service Centre vs. factory

Hi,

What are the pros and cons of having a ladies Rolex serviced at a Rolex Authorised Service Centre vs sending it back to the factory for a service?

Presumably a local service should be quicker, are the warranties the same?

Thank you - Justin

Warranty is the same regardless, Justin.
Find the closest RSC to you and take/send it there.
No need to send it to Switzercheeseland; any RSC should provide the same level of quality of service.
They will also replace certain items as a matter of preventive maintenance, such as all the seals, the Barrel Spring, a crystal <if yours is an older Acrylic type>, etc.
You also get a warranty on the service, which gives you good peace of mind.
