Which PAM is most iconic for BETTARINI era?

The title says it all.

I saw a recent topic debating the most iconic 1950 PAM, so what would that be for Bettarini era/cases?

I’m going to put mine in. 112G with painted dial and decorated movement. It comes as Panerai is gaining in popularity in early millennium after the early and now legendary pieces have long sold out.

In no particular order, I would say 000, 360 or 111 (with 111G for bonus points, though some would argue for later sandwich dial models).

That 911 is a game changer. Worths to become my first Panerai grail.

Ha :)

I just finished reading your thread, finding out about the 587 over there.

Good luck on your hunt!

For me, 3 good options from my collection.
390 is wonderful. It was issued for only one year as a boutique piece. JV with a deployment.

The 911 is beautiful on the wrist and has the Angelo heritage. I like it on the cashmere strap.

But the most likely candidate is the 360. So much comes with this modern era Paneari. Shown here with a Dirk sharkie. Oh my.

000, 005, 111, 112 are all great, but are they iconic?

All good posts so far. I think the PAM 024 Submersible falls in there for me.

000, 005, 111, 112 ..these 4 pieces kind of set the stage for the 15 minutes of "Panerai Mania"

Ennebi Fondale 9705.

Is there a substitute?

I have the same movement in my 231.
