Fantasy Panerai

Panerai has tried hard to widen its appeal & increase demand in its products, diehards would argue they have strayed from their core style.....

As a Panerai fan I would love to buy a Panerai with the following features:

1) 44mm stainless steel case, Bettarini style, but brushed steel with polished bezel.
2) Quick release strap change system.
3) Black sandwich dial, with 12, 3, 6 Arabic markers.
4) Dial with minimal inscriptions - maybe just a "Panerai" with little else..
5) Luminor style, small Marina seconds hand.
6) Automatic movement, 3 day reserve, with sapphire caseback. I'm not opposed to a manual movement. Movement does not have to be in-house...just accurate, reliable & mechanically attractive.
7) 1950 sapphire dome crystal.
8) 300m water resistance.
9) A limited annual production, perhaps with a delivery wait time, to help sustain demand and value...

Please post features any of you "fans' would like or find compelling in a new release...........Maybe they'll listen!!!!!

A 1950 SS Case Luminor in 47mm with the Tropical California Dial and Hand Set out of the PAM931 would be nice (similar to the PAM779)
Power Reserve gauge on the movement (like the 422) would be a bonus

Being more realistic, I'd love a 111 that has the fully decorated movement but also a sandwich dial, which i'm pretty sure never happened from factory but some people do Frankenstein together by swapping dials

Not bad. Taking it further....

What style font? (For example, 372 style? 127 style? 111 style?)

What color lume? (white/green? ecru?)

PR indicator on the back?

Polished or brushed device that protects the crown?

"REG TM" on the device that protects the crown?

Regarding the dome, not all 1950 case models have a dome. I assume you mean something like the 233?

"Screw in" or "snap on" case back?

What about thickness?

I guess my fantasies have a lot of details.

All or any of those font styles appeal to me.
Green lume please.
PR indicator not necessary, but if available, on the back please.
"REG TM" marking is OK.
Yes, 233 dome!
Not sure about the case back....dont know enough about this...
Thickness..hmmmm.......nothing excessive...standard Panerai fat boy.....

I would love a 177 with a GMT function (dot indicator) - with a power reserve on the back.

I like your list os specs, OP!

To make it simple, a 44mm 372 would do it for me. Yum.
