Problem is that Amazon and their vendors are NOT an AD, and to make matters worse they file off the serial number off the watch case AND the movement. Omega will never touch that watch, and it will kill your resale value.
There are dealers that will give you the same discount and you get the peace of mind that only an AD can give you.

I think that the Speedy and Planet Ocean are fantastic. IMO they can hold their own against any other watch out there.

I agree that the way to go on this is buy from an AD. I got 25% off list on my Planet Ocean, so can you. Larry

You are right, turns out that amazon offer only their own warranty.
