Why is this section of the Forum not more active

I find this section of the Forum to be one of my favorites as the posts within always seem to put a smile on my face just when I need it most.

I think Rolex owners have a great sense of humor...or do they?

I am curious why the Jokes & Cartoons section is not more active?

Here are some WHY jokes just for you.

Why do you need a driver's license to buy liquor when you can't drink and drive?

Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds?

Why are there interstate highways in Hawaii?

Why are there flotation devices under plane seats instead of parachutes?

Why are cigarettes sold in gas stations when smoking is prohibited there?

Do you need a silencer if you are going to shoot a mime?

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work in the mornings?

If 7-11 is open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on the doors?

If a cow laughed, would milk come out her nose?

If nothing ever sticks to TEFLON, how do they make TEFLON stick to the pan?

If you tied buttered toast to the back of a cat and dropped it from a height, what would happen?

If you're in a vehicle going the speed of light, what happens when you turn on the headlights?

You know how most packages say "Open here". What is the protocol if the package says, "Open somewhere else"?

Because it's a place to post jokes, not a place to discuss funny things. Those discussions usually happen in the Open Discussion forum.

You can fix that by posting a lot more jokes here.

Maybe because it's mostly just copy-and-paste stuff that everyone has seen a dozen times before on the internet (or heard at school back in the day).

There are a couple of things that I've noticed"

1. There is an alarming number people that don't realize this sections if for JOKES, they think these are ancedotes or amusing stories. You can tell be some of the reponses..."I would have done...why did you...?...you're brave...nice story...etc." I always look to see if it'a a language thing but all these confused people are in the US.

2. Some of the "jokes" here I don't think legally qualify as jokes, there is just not alot of content here that is acutually funny (no offense to anyone). Some yes, but not a lot.

Don't know if that answers your question, but just my obervations.

Sad news... the managing director of Dulux paints has died of hypothermia while trecking across the Antartic.
Paramedics said he could have done with another coat.
