New member and my first Submariner 1680 70's

Just wanted to share some pics of my new purchase, a Sub 1680 from the late 1970's with RSC replacement luminova dial. This beaut has not left my wrist since I got her!

I'm new here and I really look foreword to reading some of the fascinating articles that have been posted!

(excuse the crappy quality pics, obviously I missed my calling as a professional photographer )

gotta love the clean refreshed look sometimes.

We all tend to get lost in preserving the "vintage" "original" look but sometimes the RSC service look is just as nice, if not better.
