Mickey Mouse Rolex on eBay
Hi everyone,
For a long time I've fancied a Mickey Mouse Rolex to add to the collection - I've always liked the seemingly rarer, more subtle 'Mickey at 9' version as opposed to the 'arms as hands' one. Now two have cropped up on the Bay at once.... Any comments on this one or the other thats on sale by the same company....? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1211270187...84.m1423.l2649 Thanks, Giles Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Think the fact that this same seller has sold half a dozen of these would have me think
1. Not that rare 2. If supposedly a rare watch, why are they selling them on a regular basis?

I'd guess the dial has been altered, but if you like Mickey, go for it.

An Authentic Mickey will have the Disney signature and R for registered Trademark.. Without actual Disney provenance paperwork, assume that it is aftermarket..
from part of my personal collection:

Thanks everyone for your input - you've said what I was thinking, hence I didn't buy the watch despite REALLY liking it :-)
So are there any 'genuine' MM Rolexes? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Their disclaimer: "Note: Regarding Rolex "Mickey Mouse" watches, Rolex has never officially market Mickey Rolex watches but rather,
in partnership with Disney, produced these watches solely for Disney. These watches were often given to partners of Disney in special projects or VIPS, special employees, etc." Looks like it probably isn't any different than a Winn Dixie "safe driving" Rolex... |
