Root Beer with brushed bracelet

I have this Root Beer with the original two tone jubilee bracelet, but always thought it was a bit too much gold.

So I decided to try it on a brushed bracelet from my Sub. Now it looks like a Hulk with an 80's bronze tan. I kind of like it. What do you guys think?

To each his/her own. Mine came on it’s original TT Jubilee when I got it and that is a more subdued use of gold.

But had it been on a TT Oyster band, I might have brushed the gold PCLs myself rather than go SS Oyster. That would cut the “flash” yet retain the “TT-ness”

Isn't great to have so many options...

I had my CHNR on a steel Oyster for a while. It was surprisingly good and took some of the TT bite out of it.

But, that wasn't a root beer.

I prefer the TT bracelet but it does still look good. It tones it down a bit.

To each his/her own. Wear the watch the way you like it. I purchased a 97200 bracelet for my BLNR because the PCL's didn't grow on me like I thought they would and some purists cried heresy and I genuinely couldn't have cared less.

I think you did the right thing I’m not a big fan of TT bracelets far too blingy for me, but some Rolex watches are also too blingy for my taste.

I prefer it with TT Oyster, but I do like the brushed SS Oyster more than the TT jubilee. Nice job and thanks for showing us.

Looks fine but I would always prefer TT oyster or jubilee for the root beer. IMO, it's just meant to be.
