I don’t think so. JLC outside of the Reverso isn’t a huge seller so 1000 pieces of another model is a lot, even if they say it’s an LE

Doubtful. Cool piece, but probably not something that will retain or appreciate in value down the road. But then I don’t have a crystal ball, so who knows?

Don’t buy this, or that brand, thinking you’ll have yourself a wearable Investment. You’ll be disappointed.
But, it’s sweet! If you have the wrist for it, do it |

Its an incredible dull watch, JLC doesn’t really do collectable watches. Buy one if you like it.

I would purchase it for it’s appeal as a good looking, well made watch. I think you will be disappointed if you see it as an appreciating asset, it will never be.

If price retention is a factor get the Geophysic 1958 reissue. 850 pieces and far more collectible. I don't see the Polaris being a classic.

For this price,
I would look around for a second-hand Tribute to Polaris 1968: it's nicer, it's a classic, and it has a price tag proven by time.
