Tudor GMT....astounding accuracy

It’s gained 0.2 seconds in two weeks. I’ve never known a watch like it.

Wow!! That's amazing indeed! Tudor can start putting "Superlative Chronometer" on their watch dials too. Very impressive. Cheers!

Amazing. I don't have an app, but mine has similar remarkable accuracy. I set this about ten weeks ago when I picked it up at the AD and is gained 8 seconds since then. Mindblowing. No problems with the date either....pretty much a perfect watch.

I am having the same results on mine; it is truly a great piece and such a great value IMHO. Tudor really hit it out of the park with this one.

Mine is a Pelagos, still in Tudor family and still same base movement. It loses about 3 seconds a day, is that considered normal as well?

I haven’t kept a log, but my Tudor GMT is generally +1/-1 per day. The worst it’s ever been is -1.5 seconds, and that only happened once.

I wish the bracelet had more adjustments, but otherwise it’s perfect for those who like a hefty watch.

Excellent performance. Really a pivotal piece in the Tudor line.

That’s very encouraging; mine is basically spot on since I purchased it last Friday. I’ll be curious to see if it maintains that accuracy!

The date complication gets stuck halfway between dates on a lot of GMT’s. The chat amongst everyone is they put to much lubrication and that’s the reason.

If you get that issue, send it back & Tudor will correct it.

That appl looks pretty cool, I was wondering what it’s called and what your thoughts on it are.

Thanks in advance

I’ve had the watch for 10 weeks now, and the date is working fine.

I’m not sure what Tudor’s “tolerances” are, but I’d guess -4/+6...

I don’t think we can get too excited about the actual accuracy of individual watches reported here. The quality of a movement is in consistency with time and average accuracy over a large sample of watches (i.e. is there a wide or a narrow distribution). Even the junkiest movement will have some examples that are bang on.

So happy to hear you didn't have the date issue.
I should be getting a call from the ad any day now.

And I confirm impeccable accuracy. Better than any of my Rolex.

That is amazing...but then again, my experience with the Tudor in house movements has been nothing short of spectacular.

Good accuracy but how accurate are any of these phone apps when compared to a proper timegraph.

Allegedly my iPhone clock is accurate to within 50 milliseconds. My GMT has been exactly in sync with my phone and iPad and that’s close enough for me. Obviously a timegrapher (cheap models are around $150) is much more accurate and readings are immediate rather than visually checking over a period of days or even weeks. My AD will happily put any of my watches on a timegrapher if I want but I really think a quick occasional check against my phone is good enough

Big thumbs up from me,
Worn constantly since collected in early June and only taken off at bedtime and not even needed winding and probably the most accurate piece I have owned,,
