Yes I saw one in the case in today at my local AD so not too rare in Mississippi. Beautiful watch but above my price range.

Other steel sports were Explorer 1 and 2 black and a no date sub.

I need no convincing. I had such a strong emotional reaction to the watch, and that was totally unexpected. I wasn’t going in to see a Daytona, as I’ve never had any interest in them. Even when I was trying on the SS versions, they did nothing for me. The aesthetics of the LN version are something else and simply outstanding. The combination of colors on the dual, bezel, case, and Oysterflex, combined with its heft, are quite breathtaking. It’s an immaculate watch.

My one issue is that I’ve never contemplated buying a watch on aesthetics alone. The LN Daytona is all about the aesthetics, as it lacks much of the functionality I look for in a watch. It has no date, and I’ve never been one for chronographs. I do understand what they say about a brand's technical abilities, but don’t consider them of much use. I had an Omega Speedy a very long time ago, and parted with after only a few months. It did nothing for me. The LN is something else though. I simply couldn’t stop looking at it. I’ll give it a while to see if the imprint it made today, holds strong in a few months. I’m in no rush, especially consider the money we’re talking about.

Perhaps that's the issue. As few seem to want to buy one--although lots like them--ADs stay clear of them. The chap I spoke with today said he got his through a Rolex AD as a special order.

All of you guy That have small wrist, the Dayton looks great!!
The old man syndrome with poor vision makes the time piece hard to use and read.

The Daytona looked like dog do on my 7.5 inch wrist. Most of my watches are 45mm.
up close, the wg is a beauty.

I managed to get a 10% discount but only because of my relationship with my AD. I wouldn’t expect s discount on this piece.

I find it to be the nicest Daytona. I wear mine all summer. It dominates summer wrist time.

There isn't a Ceramic Daytona currently being sold in PM on a bracelet other than the 50th. I'm not a fan of the rubber strap only. It'd be nice to have as an option but as an only, not so nice. I guess the rubber keeps the price lower a bit. That is the only positive imho.

Mine is 7.5 inches and think it fits great, even the smaller SS. May be wrist shape

If you get a discount i would be shocked.

I am at 1 year from my AD vs 0 days for a BLRO...offered a SS daytona C twice while i have been waiting. Distribution seems to be weird on this one and not some insane demand. If your AD gets one i imagine you can get it. Mine hasn't gotten one forever.
Saw one of these in the window at a Goldsmiths up north in a large and popular shopping centre around Christmas time. Have to say it is by far the most stunning Daytona to date IMO.

If anything, the rubber makes it more expensive. A preowned 519 Daytona is worth more than a preowned 509 with the same dial.

ill track it down eventually

TBH since im moving in a few months i would rather wait a bit, get the refund and import it to the US as the duty there is very reasonable when you declare.

Availability WG Daytona 116519LN Oysterflex

The problemi have with the ceramic Daytona on oyster flex is that the end links are NOT removable. So impossible to change different straps if one chose to do so. The after market would need to be designed to retrofit the end links

I think it would look cool on a nice black racing strap from time to time. I did that on my SS Daytona black dial

Nice change up while keeping my white dial on the bracelet

Coincidentally, my friend sent me a glorious pic of a display case at an AD located near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, 2 days ago.

great stock... however still no WG OF

I do see the diamond dial OF that they seem to be supplying a lot lately though. No idea why as its probably the least demanded.

I've seen a couple of the diamond dial ones too. Including the MOP with diamonds version too. Personally I don't like either of them.

I've tried on various PM Dayonta's at AD's. WG OF was definitely the one for me by a long mile.

AHHHH!!! Stop it with these WG Daytona posts...

I'm walking a fine line of hurting my wallet again... hahaha

I have to agree the WG does wonders for this piece. If one of our local ADs had one in stock, I'll be hard press to say no.

Best Daytona in current production, no doubt about that. I would wait until it comes out on the bracelet so you can wear the rubber, if you want, but also have the feel of all gold.

They are out there but I am guessing popularity has increased a bit recently. My AD offered me one a few months ago and when I visited them recently told me they were expecting another very soon.

Beautiful watch, of course, but I wish the dial were lighter. It looks like a dark steel in some light, not that cool lighter iridescent silver on vintage Daytonas.
