Count me in:
(a) Gloss Briarwood Deep Color (b) Medium (c) Pink Gold for everything (d) Love the pattern of Gloss Briarwood Deep, the Medium nib is nice for every application usage and the Pink gold compliments the finish perfectly. Could really use a NICE fountain pen |

Steve,
Thanks for the opportunity to receive such a beautiful writing instrument. I recently visited the nibs.com website and WOW! . . . I feel as though there are many other members who would enjoy this more than I (so I'll sit this one out). Best of luck to the winner & looking forward to the pics!

Nakaya Fountain Pen Entry
My selection:
(a) Nakaya Piccolo Black Hairline Finish Fountain Pen. (b) Medium. (c) Rhodium tip, rhodium nib. Nib mod: double-slit music for increased ink-flow. (d) I admire the simple, yet classy styling of this model. It is an example of a sporty writing instrument being a gunmetal shade of gray, but also having just the right amount of understated elegance displayed in the overall matte texture. It would be a perfect compliment to my Rolex GMT IIc, stainless steel version. Thank you for the opportunity to enter. Kind Regards, Blaine |

Just made it in the nick of time...
Dang, nearly missed this. Half an hour before deadline (11.30pm on the 20th)... whew...
OK then... I would like.... 2. (a) Decapod Fountain Pen, Kuro-tamenuri (b) Nakaya nib, broad, 0.44-0.54 imprinted Nakata, made of solid 14K gold. Customised into a stub (c) Heki-tamenuri (Brown-Green) (d) My preferrences will gift me with a pen that I will use to write the great Australian novel!!! Once I have that beauty in my hand, the words will flow as smoothly as the ink... Thanks for the opportunity Steve :)

I'd originally decided not to enter as I've not used a 'proper' pen in years but please disregard that Steve for the reason I've explained in (d):
a) Nakaya Long Fountain Pen Aka-tamenuri (Long Cigar, no clip, dark reddish-red, with the painted "goldfish" converter) b) Broad nib c) For a right-handed writer. d) My wife just saw me looking at the Nakaya website & she told me that she kept all my letters from way way WAY back when I was working away.... & that she loved the fact that I'd written them to her with a "real" pen. (It was a Parker Duofold). I figure if I win this pen maybe I'll write her another letter thanking her for the last twenty three years she's put up with me! Thanks for the opportunity Steve....

I hope I'm not too late:
a) Matte Briarwood Light b) Fine Nib c)14K finish. d)I really like a wood finish on Pens. It makes them seem historic. I used to have a fountain pen when I was a kid. I was facinated by them. I like the fine point for taking notes. The example looks great to me. Pretty much make it look like the example in the Briarwood section. |

I made it just in time:
a) Portable Writer (w/clip) Kuro- tamenuri (Black-Red) b) Medium Nib c) Rhodium color Nib and Clip d) I really love the red undertone against the black pen. I think the rhodium color would look really nice instead of the gold color. Thanks for this opportunity Steve. |

I would love the:
(a) Portable Writer (With Clip) Heki-tamenuri (Brown-Green) (b) BB Stub Nib which would be my customizations! (c) Gold clip and two tone nib. This pen is luscious in the extreme! Fantastic coloring and workmanship. This pen is ART! YUM!!!

Now the draw is closed, I just wanted to say that this is a fantastic prize and that the pens are truly stunning. The red/black of Steve's choice and the Briarwood gloss that Kyle picked are absolutely gorgeous writing instruments.
Good luck everybody. Jim |

Woo Hoo! I echo this sentiment toward the prize. It feels like an exclusive privilege to be considered with only about 73 others. Thanks Steve!
