What do you guys think of the new 67-01? I find it looks nice, first tonneau shape in ultra thin, sure it doesn't have the functions of the 011 or the beauty of a Bubba or Nadal but it's nice and thin

Not for me. I can appreciate it, but either go all the way with an 011 or just get the flat version. It might be a nice 4-5th watch for a RM collector that needs a covert under the sleeve piece, but I really don't see much appeal for me.

HOWEVER, it's always nice to see RM thinking of new things

If you're going all white, Bubba would be the safe one IMHO.

Man, I really love the ivory. Once a week I consider swapping the Lotus for it, just to get a bit extra flash.

Every time I've tried on the ivory (albeit I like the solid RG case), it comes off a bit bland, and just feel it needs some color in dial like RG & Ti.

Wait there's a 011 flat version?

Oh no, your Lotus is so much cooler IMO, don't do it…

Yep Bubba and Nadal are the RM's I prefer, not sure about white though, when I tried on the white CE diver didn't like it much, the black Bubba rocks, white looks nice but only if you have a big collection and a white one is fun to wear sometimes, but not if you have 1 to 3 watches, at the same time I'm not a huge orange fan but would love to wear 24/7 the 027-02, but I would definitely get the grey textile strap of the 01 to wear it grey or original...

I wanted to take a minute to share what a great experience I had at the RM boutique in Aspen last weekend.

They had a fantastic selection of pieces that I was able to try on. All of which were new to me. Most of which were well out of my price range.

Additionally, when I called earlier in the week, I was told that they had a yellow velcro strap for my 35-01. When I went to pick it up, it turned out to be the wrong size.

Although disappointed, they offered to order a selection of straps for me, with a nice discount, and drive them to Denver upon arrival and change them on my pieces.

Needless to say, I was extremely impressed. With all the bad feedback you hear about different boutiques, this was a great experience.

We never discussed discounts on pieces though, as I was not in the market.

John, where did they open in Aspen? I was there last summer and didn't see an RM btq there.

Sounds like they are putting an emphasis on customer service which they should at this price point. Bravo, patek write some of this down

They are great on the customer service front (repair wise in the US). All US repairs are done in LA (with very rare exceptions) and normally have the watch back in a few weeks. They also back their watches with a 5 year warranty...speaks volumes about the quality.

I have my Great great great grandfathers 1860's Patek Philippe which is still running very nicely with very minimal servicing over the years. The warranty probably ran out about 149 years ago but I'm not too worried about warranty with Patek Philippe.

Have you seen RM has gone in to partnership with the McLaren F1 team now they've lost Tag Heur to Red Bull.

For F1 fans on here, I find it funny that Fernando Alonso will be contractually obliged to wear a watch with Massa's name on it after being forced to play second fiddle for all those years at Ferrari!

Alonso will probably be wearing something besides a Massa 011.

Here is the thread discussing the F1 announcement: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=459566
