Montblanc and Rolex go together like cheese and crackers. I have three 146s and three 149s (of various vintages). The only other fountain pen I really collect are Pilot Vanishing Points (of which I have three).

I'm a collector myself with Montblanc. I don't know what it is with Montblanc maybe it's a disease...

Great minds think alike!

I'm thinking about getting a MB pen, though I lose the cheap gel pens I carry around on a regular basis.... would be heartbreaking to lose one so nice.

This thought may help you…..once you have a very nice pen I have found by not allowing others to use it...you have a tendency to keep better track of your valuables. Also never set it down somewhere and walk away…unless it is in your home office or den!!!

Take care…..Leo

Wow

Michael Flash has got quite the collection of MB's and Rolex's going on there. That is some man's jewelry box alright!

My wife lets me use 1/2 of her bottom drawer and thats it!

totally agree, i used to go through loads of rotring fineliners with a lot of casualties when people tried to write with them like a ballpoint.

it just doesn't happen with my MB fineliner as the refills are quite robust.
