Of course there aren't. We are just making guesses based on recent history and things we'd like to see Rolex do. Nothing wrong with some harmless fun and sometimes people come up with interesting ideas.

If someone shows up with a "my AD told me ____________", that's when your BS alarm should sound.

Call it sour grapes but I find it difficult to get very excited about it given the current supply issues. I put my name down for a blue Skydweller after last Basel, never got the call. Put my name down for the Pepsi same day it was released (with a large Florida dealer from whom I’ve bought about 8 watches over the last few years) and still waiting for that call.

So, not to be negative but if things continue as they have been, what does it matter what is released? You won’t be able to actually buy it unless you want to spend 2x from a gray dealer who seem to get all they want.

They might introduce some really cool stuff, but it won’t matter because you can’t buy it anyway.

The real question is how much more will be the Subs/GMT with the new movements. And if you take that new price and add sales tax, are you exceeding/matching the current gray dealer prices for exisiting models, with no waiting list, free shipping and no sales tax? And how much is that 72-hour power reserve worth to you?

You think retail prices will increase and grey market will still the same?

It would appear the new movement adds $250 to the price. MSRP on the SS BLRO is $350 more than on the BLNR, but that increase also includes the Jubilee, which is a $100 premium on SS DJs. In other words, the increase isn't going to ratchet up MSRP on the new models to the point where paying gray premiums on the older models will make good financial sense.

A clasp system similar to the Tudor Pelagos, perhaps more refined, for the various submariners. Movements with 70+ hour reserve.
Tudor has been a test bed.

The SD43 kept the existing Glidelock design; I don't see it changing for new Subs. I especially don't see a class-leading Rolex part being eschewed for a Tudor part.

The 3235 in the next-gen Sub is a given. The only question is when.

Completely new Milgauss, a part of 3235 penetrating GMT further on. Ceramic bezel PM Daytona with PM bracelet. It is just a matter of less than three months!

And BTW zero chance for any shifts within Submariner line until 2021 at least. 116610LV might be phased out sometimes in 2020.

Black and White Dial 42mm Ceramic Explorer 2 (black ceramic bezel; SST case; new movement)

Batman and Hulk = Discontinued

Possible that the AK and some of the Milgauss are discontinued as well.

Updated (new movement) on some mainline SST watches (Sub, Exp 1).

The way Rolex will piss of PM owners this time...SST blue Sub on Jub. Soul crushing:)
