I completely understand what you're saying. Completely. I am that way with my Explorer II. I've had 10 or 12 other watches and no matter how excited I am when I get them, they quickly start losing out to the Explorer II. It's a predictable pattern and I'm really not sure how to build a collection. I quickly flipped a GMT LN, SD4K, Milgauss, Explorer, a bunch of Omega's. I'm thinking maybe just adding the polar Explorer II and/or a Bluesy.

Take it as a blessing! Proves it’s the only watch you need.

One option is to get a watch that is the opposite of the Sub aesthetically, thus not interfering with the Sub passion.

DJ 41 ?
Reverso ?

A 116610LN (or a 16610) really is all a man needs..adding more simply dilutes the time you can wear the one.

I just sold my DJ41. Too much money sitting in the watch box and rarely being worn. I am leaning toward picking up a SARX033

Find something you like and buy it. You’ll see how quick you take that watch off.

I bought an Explorer 2 just about 3 weeks ago and it’s been on my wrist ever since. I got three Rolex PM’s just sitting in the safe.

I am the same way! The SubC date is the ultimate daily in my opinion. I feel like any watch after it would be dressy / weekend / date night watches only.

My wishlist consists of blue SkyD and white c Daytona; but have also thought about just getting the blue dial datejust 41 on jubilee and fluted if the skydweller never comes

That DJ41 looks amazing. But I totally get it....a lot of money tied up if you never wear it. You may just find that all you need is the Sub.

Hope it’s not too late and not to confuse your one watch outlook (which I admire), but you can wear your BLRO on your subs glidelock bracelet. I do it all the time. Best of all worlds.

I can totally sympathize. I have others, want others, but at the end of the day the 1166110LN is on my wrist. I never have to wonder if the watch I've got on is going to fit in the moment. It always does....

Good problem to have.

Sometimes I wish I could find that one watch...and then I log onto the forum.

I agree with this sentiment. If you have a watch you absolutely love, why take it off.

Nothing wrong with being a one watch man. But if you ever wanted one that would get the sub off you wrist, get a DJ.

Love, love that Seiko. The problem is that I don’t know how it would ever knock the SubC off my wrist. Maybe on a leather strap for an occasional dress watch.

I don't think a DJ would get more wrist time than a sub to be honest

Fully understand - stopped wearing my old iwc completely since adding the diver. Gave it to my brother instead. Maybe one day I’ll find something more perfect for me, until then the one watch is just fine.

Lucky guy! I feel the same way about my SS daytona I actually miss it when I wear a different watch for a day. But I still itch for a next watch all the same.

Thanks! I love it it. Works so well on brushed bracelet. Also wear it on a PLC oyster. Can’t lose with this piece.
