Icon20 My OTHER watches!

I pulled out my drawer and took some pics of the other, non-Rolex watches I have:

First, my beloved Seiko Sport's 100, given to me as an Xmas gift in 1985. IMHO, one of the most beautiful Seiko's ever made:

This Seiko I bought some years back. Hardly ever use it, but the Kinetic Auto Relay is quite ingenious. One shake of the watch, and the hands tune in on the "remembered" (stored) time after it has been lying inactive for a while:

Then this nice, classic watch I picked up at a flea market some years back. Nothing special, but I do like the dial:

And finally a Junghans Mega radio-controlled watch. Actually, one of my favourite watches. I might lack what you would call "soul" since everything works automatically on this one (always spot on, no date shifts needed and it even accounts for summer and winter time).

I bought a rubber strap for this one since I have a tendancy to be allergic to leather straps (Chrome allergy, yet only by close and constant contact of leather directly to my skin).

IMHO, the size of the Junghans is awesome and fits my wrist very nicely:

Just wanted to share these watches with you!

Bo has non-Rolex? Inconceivable!!

That would be like Al Gore racking up a $5k/month electric bill, or finding out Dick Cheney had a gay child.

I have never seen that Seiko moonphase before--nice. They have made so many different kinds of watches, it's astounding.

Have to admit I like the design of your "Ancher" Deluxe. A lot of watches from that era share that "look" and I like the "arrows head" markers. I see a lot of used Omega Constellations with that look as well, but I have also seen plenty of Titoni's and other smaller brands from that era, including "Fabuna". Nice photos, thanks for sharing.

Bo, the first Seiko is a 7a48, which is a kissing cousin to my 7a28. Very nice, and very accurate, even compared to other quartz.

Nice stuff, Bo... I wouldn't dare try and do the same. My watch drawer is full of much more pedestrian stuff. I don't think I've ever thrown away a watch in my life. I wish I still had my first Caravelle (Bulova) automatic I received as a teen. It marked the beginning of the end for me... :)

I can see the resemblance, Ed! Very nice!

The Seiko moonphase was probably the watch that started my big interest for watches in general. I got it when I was 16 years old.

Good looking collection, Bo. You need to get them out and on the wrist from time to time (no pun intended).

I`m jealous of you because of that moonphase Seiko.I tried to find it for years, but it seems that it`s quite impossible to find in Serbia.
So I bought something similar to Ed Rooney`s model. Here`s the pic.
BTW,great collection!

Bo: I like the collection!Especially the Junghans Mega. I have a Ball Fireman(bought very recently here on TRF from Jamie Houghton...great watch, especially the lume with the Tritium gas electrons lighting up whatever it lights up). Also, an Oris Complication, white dial(nice but hard to read as I get old and grey), a Breitling Superocean, an oldie but goodie, a couple of pocket watches, and for good luck two grandfather clocks, one oldie(Herschede circa 1920), and a newbie, an Italian designed(circular front, pretty cool)Howard Miller, and a partridge in a pear tree.....when I get some free time, I swear I will learn to do macro digital photography, and learn to do photos like you do, and then post em here... just don't hold your breath).
best, and thanks again for sharing your photos!
