Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch....

Retail is $900, Grey AD $675. I can pick up this for $200? Is this watch worth it? I am not to excited about the cheap bezel, but it seems like a nice beater watch. And I like the red second hand on the black dial. It comes with box, receipt, and papers and was purchased in in 2007.

Does any one own this watch here on TRF?

for $200, it sounds like a good deal.

I have contemplated a Tag Heuer F1 Chronograph, but the bezel's look (which is titanium carbide coated, not plastic as some think) and the lack of a tachymeter on a "racing" watch turned me off.

For $200 to get a good quality quartz watch, however, I'd get over those issues.

Thanks Karwath. I didn't realize that the bezel was titanium carbide coated. I think I am going to buy it... it seems to be a good beater. Just another watch to add to my arsenal.

I have the Tag Heuer Formula One with a white face. I really like the watch and it keeps great time. The band is one of the most comfortable bands I have ever worn. If you can pick it up for $200, I would say go for it.
