Rose gold VC Chrono definitely better than SS Daytona and the price is a lot higher also.
If you want to pay high value timepiece, I would rather go for Rose gold AP 26331OR with full bracelet, it sure looks gorgeous.

I agree they look beautiful but every time I try to love an RO I just don’t like it on my wrist. Think it is the shape.

I know you decided to go Rolex ... congratulations
IMHO, this is the VC of choice. I had tried it on last year (before lockdown). It's beautiful in real life, wears larger as others have mentioned, and to my eye is easier to read YMMV. 20210307_081636.jpg Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

Rolex Daytona vs Vacheron Constantin Overseas

Oh wow! Thanks for posting this. What a beautiful deep black. I love that the interior ring of the recessed sub dials is polished. So many subtle attention to detail things to discover.

I love the watch and would buy it in a second if it were just sub-40mm. As it stands it is just waaayyyyy too big for me.

I had a couple chances to buy one at the NYC boutique, and tried to talk myself into it, but it was just too darn big and thick for my 6.75-inch wrist. (The VC Overseas three-hand version is the one to get, especially with the stunning blue dial.) |

The VC 4500V doesn't have hacking seconds and the date change seems weird(not instant change).

If they made the VC smaller I’d prefer that. However I’d rather have the Daytona.

I had the 4500V blue dial for a time - it's nice enough but didn't last long. The micro-extensions on each side of the clasp kept popping to the extended position (push-in, pull-out friction-based) - it drove me nuts. And I didn't have much faith in the strength of the quick-change connectors, especially when thinking about that heavy bracelet pulling year after year (not that I've ever heard of it failing).
YMMV. |

I'm old fashioned.
Sports watch: Rolex. Dress watch: VC. I own a VC and it's not the most rugged. |

The only downside with the Daytona for me is it just wears a little too small. And I know that's personal preference...but I like its aesthetics better than the VC which I do think is more of a dress watch. |
