Atlanta Area AD Help

A friend is trying to source a James Cameron in Atlanta area. Probably impossible but thought I’d ask if anyone had a contact. Thanks!

Brown & Co and Mayors are two great ADs. Not sure if any of us can help you get a specific piece, though :)

I would try all the AD and hope to connect with some SA who will be helpful.

In my experience, the mayors crew is not very helpful. They just want to push $ but they used to offer a full deposit policy to be put on a list.

The Brown location in buckhead underwent a big transition. Their SAs were caught selling out the back door and management fired them. The new crew is far less knowledgeable. Was there today to pick something else up, nothing in stock but some full YG pieces, no idea what’s in the safe but they have one :)

A trusted seller is not a bad route here.

Good luck.

I went to Brown and Mayors this morning there was hardly any stock at either. Worst I have ever seen it. Mayors had tons of stock from September to December last year but my SA said so far in 2021 stock has been trickling in with very low shipment numbers.

Oh wow. Interesting. I had dealt with a couple who seemed great. I was wondering why they happened to leave suddenly. How did you find out if you don't mind me asking? Was it widely known?

How does an SA sell out the back door? Certainly the watches would have to be rung up in the system where they would for sure get caught.

I live in Atlanta and purchased a TTSD from Mayors at the end of last year. I had a very pleasant experience with the sales rep and I can share her name with you if you message me directly. I would highly recommend her, but you will have to wait like with any other AD.

Not sure anyone other than a reseller can deliver a JC immediately.

The Brown & Co in Buckhead is very nice too, worked with an older lady sale rep who has been selling Rolex for 30 years.

Make sure to ask if they can check their pockets.

I’d rather not share here out of respect for the family. They are a very honest and ethical family, got unlucky with some bad apples.

IRL, after a few beers, now that’s a different story!

Not too far away, but Kings in Nashville has one. Not an AD but was just there earlier today and they had one that looked like brand new in the case.

Well yeah I know that lol. It was more of a rhetorical question, as in certainly they must have had, or at least they thought they had, a more complex scheme than they did.

.
If the crew pushing product out via the back door got removed, the popular theory is that regular deserving buyers will then get their watches, but that does not sound like what you describe?

I got my JC from Mayor’s at Lenox Mall in January 2020. My SA was Poppy and she is wonderful.

I like Browns in Buckhead. I bought a BB58 from them on Monday. I was told, however, that they reserve their SS models for big spenders. Their sales staff are super nice though and I have had some good conversations with a couple of them.

Sounds like a great AD. All should be like this.

It was a little off putting to be told that but I think they just vet who they sell to. I feel like it would be easier to acquire a piece after purchasing stuff from them.
It’s not a big deal to me, I don’t really like 6 digit references much.

Not what happens for reason below. At least there is transparency.

Forgive me for highjacking the thread, I just saw the post was regarding the Atlanta area and I have a question that you can hopefully address. Has anyone done business with Da Vinici Fine Jewelers? Any concerns there?

Thanks!
