One of my favorite things about buying a new Rolex...

It makes you appreciate the old ones all over again...

It does? Haha I tend to ignore my old ones while in the honeymoon phase of getting a new one.

Not me. It make me respect my Rolexes over my other watches. I start wearing them more. My other watch brands just sit unnoticed.

This reminds me of when I went shopping for my 16600 in the early '90's. The SA pulled out a steel Daytona and had me try it on. $7500 if I remember correctly. I went with the $2750 16600. I also remember the case being full--no waiting lists back in those days.

If you stick to 5-digits, the case is still full.
