I definitely agree with the sport models. Honestly a lot of it has to do with the cyclops. I would love to acquire a SD4k

I like date complications just not date windows.

Blancpain does it well:

Big fan of the No Date Sub - symmetry, classic design, iconic looks.
My first Rolex.
Hopefully one day a Daytona as well.

If I need the date, I just look at my phone.

Both my Rolex's are of the non date variety but I do want at least one with a date.

Fans of No Date Rolex Models?

OK , I've got a few that are no dates and only one with a date. Actually love them all!!! At one point in time I could never see owning a Rolex without a date.

Here's two of mine plus i have a 14060M in the safe. I had an Air King but traded it for a new Polar. I miss the AK now and am thinking of selling the Polar and getting another AK back in the collection. Shame of it all

No date watches are cool...the symmetry is definitely a selling point. I enjoy date models for the convenience, and no date models for the esthetic.

I pretended to, but I actually prefer a date on my watches. I had the 114060/214270/ speedy trio but much prefer my 16570 and 116600. I do have a fois incoming.

No shooting from me, I totally agree, lets have the Submariner in other colours, why should the Sub Date get to be Mr Colourful.

Love no date watches, I have 3, the new Submariner, a Speedmaster and a Railmaster, they all have a great balanced look to the dial which I really appreciate.

I would be very happy with Submariner in TT or PM, lets see an OP or Explorer 1 in TT, there must be a market for no date watches with a splash of precious metal.

Next up for me is the Milgauss Z Blue, saving the pennies.

Would be nice to see some mock ups of the colour Subs without date function, (I’m not clever enough to do) would love a Bluesy as a no date, I could see no date Subs being a big seller not that Rolex need the extra sales.

I wouldn’t say that I prefer. But I sure don’t mind not having a date on many watches. I agree that the symmetry is fantastic!

I honestly prefer the No Dates as well. So much easier to set. Don't have to worry about months that don't end in 31, as well as the AM/PM. I like to pick up my watch, set the time and go. Setting the date and AM/PM is a pain for me. Maybe I'm getting too old and cranky.

So I take it you wouldn’t like setting a 500 year calendar, with day, date, month, year, and moon phase?

Have owned a Datejust as my daily since ‘96 and the date feature is convenient. But, I prefer my SubC 114060 ‘19 model. The ND look is clearly more symmetrical. And, it’’s quicker to wind it up. A Daytona is on my wish list.

[QUOTE=Krash;11009751]

THIS! The perfect 2 watch collection IMHO. I have my father's sub (with date), but Omega Speedmaster is by far my favorite

No date is the way to go!

As much as I love the Explorer, I find Date complication to be very useful and miss it when I dont have it.

Also when it comes to Submariner, I prefer the 14060 reference over the newer SubC. I find in the Ceramic models, I prefer the Submariner Date. Not sure why. Just more visually pleasing to my eyes.

But yes 14060 is a classic. Stunning proportions.
