Anyone have a Black Bay Dark?

i have been interested in this model since it was released. I'm normally a bracelet guy, but I love how the Dark looks on the leather band and on the provided nato. I'm curious to hear from anyone who owns (or owned) this model. How is the finish holding up? Did you grow old of the all black? Thanks in advance!

I think PVD will get tired after a while. The bronze is the better, lasting purchase IMO

I seriously considered getting one but I felt the black version with SS bracelet would be a safer choice. Couldn't tell if I would get tired of the all black?

Nope. But get a HUGE discount if you buy new and ever think that you may sell.
The secondary market is rough on that piece.

I have though about picking one up on the leather and having my watchmaker put a red handset on it and distress the edges of the case to let the ss show thru a bit and throwing it on an Erikas black MN strap with the red stripe. Would be bad ass.

Interesting you say that because I have heard many times the bronze is far too soft and it will be interesting to see how they stand the test of time

Did think of that. Prices on the BBD were so much lower than the BS when I looked it was a hard pill to swallow to basically destroy the watch. Part of me thinks I am crazy for even thinking of such an idea.
