I'm on two waiting lists. One at an AD near my office (in London) where they're quoting a 18-24 month wait.

The other is at my local Goldsmiths where they're quoting a 3-6 month wait (there's just fewer people on the list).

I'd be hopeful of seeing mine by next spring if the timescales are to be believed.

Blowers in Hull & Mayfair have one or two in. They're asking £6950 & that was two days ago (going off their Instagram post) hth.

Given the potential wait and further increase. That's probably a reasonable premium for a new one.

Yeah I didn't think it was too bad that's why I mentioned it.
If you really want one and don't want to wait then it's an option .

Unfortunately not. It's the only one I've managed to try on at my AD :(

I will have one soon. Just need to wait for my turn :(

It was 100% there and if I had wanted it today I could have bought it and I'm not on a list for it.

Not disagreeing with you mate, they just stated it's not available as they are calling through their list. Guessing AD BS as they are seeing if they get the walk in business first.

Sadly, they have just advised me (over the phone) that the piece is not available and that a customer has collected it; apparently they have about 3 people on their list and receive a piece every three months or so.

It's worth phoning around as I saw a BLNR for sale on eBay the day after it was purchased from the AD. One of the photos showed the warranty card with the dealers name on it. Anyway, thought it was worth a telephone call to the AD and an hour later the AD called to say, whilst they had a list, nobody on it wanted it before Christmas and it was mine if I wanted it! I know I was extremely lucky but it's worth trying some of the independent AD's especially in rural areas.

Here's a suggestion. Get on a plane. Fly to Texas (in the colonies). My AD has a BLNR in the show case. You will probally not get a discount. We'll go out for TexMex foodn(you can Google). Get on another plane. Go home.

Great idea however with exchange rate and no discount BLNR works out around £7900 with my calculations.

Add a £500 flight to the USA (assuming you paid for the TexMex lol)

That's a £8400 BLNR.

Our price has just gone from £5950 to £6550.

Price is the key here!!

Laings in Glasgow (Argyle Acrade store) had one in their window when I was last in a few weeks ago.

I'll be in the city at the weekend so I will pop in and see if it is still there

It seems not really a brand new one because of its old red tag. But the price is still higher than the MSRP.

Could not sort out a private sale people promising to pay then backing out so sold it to a grey dealer but a very reputable one who I have dealt with before with the money guaranteed to be paid to me once they have inspected the watch.
