New Strategy for selling your SS Sport Rolex

So, Rolex Sport SS models are not in supply at AD's right ?
Simply wear your Sport SS reference you want to sell
to your local AD ...
If you spot a disappointed customer that wants
to buy but can't because there is no supply simply
offer them yours...

Your Welcome... I only charge 10 % consultation fee !

having a little fun with the holidays coming up and no
sport ss models available...

Also, make sure to have box and papers in full view.

That's great but carrying the box and papers around is a bit of a hassle though.

Have them ready in vehicle...
One must be prepared at all times to profit
from the occasion...

At least scotch tape the warranty card on your forehead.

There would actually have to be customers in my AD for me to benefit from this, otherwise I'm just hanging out with the salesman, BS'ing about how they don't have any SS in stock...

Good one, my brother.

Funny story. A couple years ago, I was at the AD browsing watches (back in the days when you could do that) and wearing a D-Blue. One of the other customers noticed it and asked me what I wanted for it. No kidding. Right there on the spot.

Funny how we all have similar encounters... I bet there’s
others out there too...
A couple of months ago I was at the Millennia Mall in
Orlando just in front of the Rolex Boutique .
Was looking at the watches displayed in the front case
and up come 2 guys . One was wearing an LV Sub 50th
and noticed me wearing my Bluesy and said he wanted
to get one and that the boutique didn’t have it in stock
at the moment . I thought about offering mine but my
better half was with me and it was my 10 anniversary gift.
so we just talked about the sport model shortage...

I beat you to this strategy about 20-25 years ago. It was the xmas where everyone was going crazy over Tickle Me Elmo. I had gotten it for my little brother earlier in the year not knowing how hot it was going to be. I convinced him that we should walk around the mall with it and try to profit. I guess our asking price was too high as a lot of people wanted it but no one was willing to pay $100 for it.

I have considered making an offer to a customer before on the TBB when it was very hard to find here and I saw one on a wrist at an ADs, but I could tell the guy thought I was probably going to rob him so I backed off.

This. I have hit three in the past week. My wife and I were the only customers the entire time we were there.

When I was having my Yachtmaster sized in my AD nearly 12 months ago I received an offer for my sub from another customer who wasn’t happy about waiting a year for one.
