yeah those canopy numbers were a pleasant surprise. it wasnt a blow-out positive report but it was positive enough.

@Mcorliss, what are your thoughts on VFF / Village Farms?

Haven’t looked at it in over year. An uplisting won’t hurt.

Ahpria stated that there were some COIs with a few board members on the aquisition in question in the class action lawsuit. I would have expected the stock to get killed today on the Canadian market, but it looks like it closed up 5.23%. I'm surprised to say the least.

Thanks for the heads up. I see it’s opening flat this morning, which is better than I expected. Was thinking of just selling out and take my profits, but opening flat actually seems like a win after that news. What to do, what to do???

Decided to sell out on Aphria and lock in my gains.

On another front I saw that MPX was bought by iAnthus - any thoughts here? My MPX position is still idle with Fidelity and has not been replaced with ITHUF shares yet.

I own MPX and I think it’s a great deal. I also think it’s going to be a presence in the US. Their products are good and in demand. You got in on the ground floor.

My stock account has also yet to convert but I’m not concerned at all.

Yeah, I was reading that the combine company now has operations in 11 US states, and I do see the US market eventually heading towards legalization so I'm hopeful this remains a good play in the market.

Instead of purchasing actual cannabis stocks I've gone the supply industry route simply because I think it has more potential for long term growth. There's a company called generation alpha that's trading for 57 cents and has been continuously expanding like wildfire. They make lighting and nutrients and just built a huge grow op in Arizona. Grow Generation is also a retail supply store I hope becomes the starbucks of pot supply stores. They are buying up every other store at a rapid rate and it's trading for 3 and some change. Still cheap enough to get in with potential for long term growth! Any opinions on this??

I don't know anything about that company but you might be on to something.

In the California Gold Rush it wasn't the average miner that got rich it was those selling the pans and shovels.

If I remember correctly you already own the largest supplier to the industry - SMG. The industry in the US had a very challenging 2018. 2019 will be better but still down as CA and OR are still disasters

So I sold all my MJ stocks at the end of the year. To keep our Rolex measuring stick going I made enough for a DSSD blue so thank you all!
That being said I needed the money to put towards on a vacation rental condo my wife and I have been interested in for quite a while. It popped up on the market at the end of the year, so securing it and fixing it, while taking on a larger role at my daytime job has had me a bit tied up lately. :)
Now that I'm cash poor, I'll follow mcorliss's advice to playing with a small simple IRA I have from a old job many moons ago.
I'll keep my eye watching for a dip to get back in. Let me know what y'all are looking at these days.

I started investing in several MMJ stocks around August 2018. Aphria, Aurora, Canopy, Cronos, and Tilray have all been with me since the beginning, and recently I've built positions with Khiron and Pharmacielo Ltd. based on talk of S. American operations being the next big bump. I'm enjoying it all so far. I like to find companies based in medical research, strictly involved in cannabis product development and have plans for international/global expansion. Whoop!

Most of my cannabis stocks are way up. I’m up anywhere from 23% up to 100%.

Except APHA. I’m down 49%. I’ll hold it though.

Same here. Will still hold APHA. So tempted to buy 5000 shares today and hold for 30 days as this is surely to pop in that time frame. Now I just have to find my balls to do this!

If you do it, I’ll do the same. We can ride the boat together. Let me know.

I’d likely be closer to 2,000 shares though.
