Royal Oak 15202 Bracelet Issue?!

Hi Guys, I tried on a used 15202ST recently in a used dealer, the watch seems fine however I did note that there appeared to me to be some bracelet stretching or a larger gap between the case/lug area and the first link. Is this normal or is there some sort of issue here, I have seen online in pictures that often there can be a larger gap. This was not something I experienced with the 15400 with the bracelet being more sturdy. The second question is if there is some sort of stretch, is this easily fixed, assume it would be something to do with replacing the bars inside the links? If any 15202 owners able to advise that would be appreciated. From the top down view it looks fine but at certain angles it is more noticeable. Thanks.

the gap does seem unusually large.

Royal Oak 15202 Bracelet Issue?!

Looks off. Is the price really good or just market? If the latter, just buy from gray here and save yourself the headache. And even if the price is good, I would still walk. Just not worth it.

Stay away unless it’s a really good deal?. Maybe AP service center can give you a quote to fix it? Sounds like a headache for me though.

I am looking at mine right now (bought new from the boutique on 57th st. NYC) and it looks exactly the same as that. When you hold the case of the 15202 and the bracelet hangs down the links roll open. There is definitely a sizable gap between the case and the first link on these watches.

What wrist size do you have if you don't mind me asking? Do you think it has stretched over time or is that how they are normally?

Market, nothing amazing, if the bracelet thing is a real issue then I wouldn't be happy

Walk. These are out there, David just had one at 32k and looked pretty mint. That's not an awful premium in this market and a known seller.

I have a 7" wrist but this watch gets little wear so it hasn't stretched at all.

Interesting, most people seem to be unanimous in that it's suspect but in fairness I was using my little finger to keep the bracelet taut so it may have looked a bit exaggerated, on the wrist it was ok top down but more visible from the side. couple of pictures where i just held the watch without using fingers to keep it taut.

i would confirm and be sure that the watch is authentic and the bracelet is the original. Its possible to have such gap but the watches age should not be that large so it is very alarming.

Look at the connection between the case and the bracelet from the side and see if it seems exaggerated from that angle.

Go to "For Sale non-Rolex watches" in this forum and search "audemars jumbo". Check the pics in the listing by OCROLEXGUY from 12/26/2018. See how they compare to yours.

That seems normal to me, I am not an owner but having tried on one several times it did indeed feel flimsy to me so it wouldn't surprise me if the bracelet has a gap like that. The VC Overseas ultra thin variant has a similar gap, it must be inherent to the ultra thin design for both watches.
