[QUOTE=j0oftheworld;8051889]The ad is the same as when mine was purchased 2mo ago..

When I talked to them he said they have a large network of dealers and that popular/easy to find watches will be 100% original and in perfect condition. Mine showed up looking unworn except where the clasp rubs against the bracelet opening/closing it. I took mine to a local Rolex guru this week and when he inspected it he said it has never been serviced. No notes on the inside of the caseback and the seals look dry. Needless to say I plan on sending it into RSC after the holidays.

Do you have some photos of yours when it showed up? Enjoy!

I have been wearing it non stop. I have the box, books etc. I will post photos later. Pardon the poor quality of this picture. The watch was flawless. It did look like it had been polished a little on the case. Runs about 4 seconds fast per day. I plan to take it in to get checked out. No doubt about the authenticity. I heard the same story about the listing as well. Mines an M serial. Great purchase though and good luck with it. Enjoy!

Congrats on your new piece. I've also recently got one but the 2 liner version. Loving it so much. It's my daily beater and she looks so beautiful. Such a classic. Plus it's super comfortable to wear. Even though I've also got the newer 116710LN, I feel like I'm leaning towards the older models.

Now hunting for the 16710 coke. Would appreciate a shout if anyone has a piece to part with. Sorry still new and unable to post pics of my sub.

Congratulations - excellent choice. I’ve got a two-liner and wear it all the time. It’s a great watch and very versatile - goes with everything.
