I CAN'T Stand it anymore - I'm TIRED - The Dilemma 116618

I touched on this before recently in a thread. People told me that I'll get used to it. But this damn thing is so heavy. I don't know how you do it Neil!

I need to give it a break. Going to wear the DJ TT linen face for a little while.

Any other precious metal daily wearers deal with the same issue? Thoughts ?

I have a AP RG 44 so this actually offers me some relief!

After I wear SS this does feel a bit heavy on my wrist, but I like the luxurious heft and forget soon afterwards. At one time I only had PM Rolexes, DD, Sub and GMT, and that was fine too.

If you think that's too heavy, definitely stay away from the Platona!!

I believe my wrist is smaller than yours... It's like a 13 year olds wrist

The looser you wear it - the heavier it feels.

Best advice; wear it snug.

I own a 16618 and the weight isn’t a problem. Actually like the heft of the watch.

You still bought the wrong watch. You should have gone with the classic version instead..

It is not heavy unless you think about it. Pretty sure Platona is the same way. Now the AP rose gold ROO "brick" weighs in at 350 grams. Pretty much outdoes any Rolex in the weight category. Some can't muster that one!

Yes, there are people who can handle any watch, but after half of the day wearing that watch they have to take it off for a break. I know I've heard also.....

Count yourself lucky. You'll never have to fork out $ for a platinum piece.

I have that watch and I am old and small. Frankly, I don't even know its on. When I wear steel I miss the weight of pure gold.

A true first world problem if there ever was one.

Honestly though, as much as I love the Platona, I reckon I would get tired of how heavy it is over time. And yes, I do lift bros.

light watches feel cheaply made IMO, so keep it on the heavy side!

Pimp fatigue. A few hours rest from balling does the trick.
