D-Blue first outing.

Well I’ve had my D-Blue for 2 weeks now and loving it. It’s the first small outing I’ve made with it on.

However compared to my GMT it does feel top heavy. I knew to expect that so it’s not a surprise.

I don’t think it looks overly massive on me, and I am constantly admiring it. What do you guys think of the size?

I just wish I’d bought one sooner, hoping they discontinue it now lol.

Love it.

Although, as you mentioned, not crazy about the top heaviness of the watch. But...hey, nothing is perfect, right?

Looks very nice. Might be too heavy for me as the 40 mm sub and gmt seem to hit a sweet spot for me.
I find my Breitling Super Ocean Sterlfish to be a bit bulky and top heavy but i still am happy to gave it and wear it.

I found the DSSD more top heavy than my SF but both were no major bother.

Looks great Nairn, enjoy!

Thanks so much guys. This is the biggest watch I’ve ever had and it feels it.

With my pretty slim 7 inch wrists I’m glad it looks not too stupid lol.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.

I had slight reservations when I first got the SD43. But no need to worry - it looks great and you’ll soon forget all about it.

In fact, I see pics on here all the time where 40mm ceramic subs and GMTs look huge in the wrist shots - your D Blue certainly doesn’t

I’ve not worn the BLNR much since getting my 16710 Pepsi. I could be a one Watch person with the Pepsi. However I love the D-Blue and BLNR to own but the Pepsi as a daily wearer If that makes any sense.

My gut instinct tells me the D-Blue may be a step too big and heavy for me, so time will tell.

It looks great Nairn, now take a dip in one of our cold Loch,s, that should shrink everything down to size.

That's a pretty sweet trio of Rolexes! I see what you mean about the 5 digit GMT. It looks really good on your wrist

I can’t believe I dismissed the 16710 for so long. For years I bought other models that I flipped and ignored the 16710. I could have bought it 10 years ago at Half what it cost me now.

It truly is perfect with so much charm.

The BLNR is a step up in every way but the classic Pepsi still has that something special.
