Future of the DJII 116333

I've had a thing for this model for many years now and since it's been discontinued with the oyster bracelet and gray dial, I'm curious where prices could go. This was kind of a poster child for Rolex in advertising for quite a while. How do you think used prices will fare? I've already felt the heat of prices on bluesy 16613 subs. Not sure how things will go with the DJ2 considering it's not a sports model. All enabling aside, strike while the iron's hot??

As things become scarce they become more valuable.

But that aside, it’s a beautiful watch. Go for it.

Datejusts tend to be immune to price spikes, partly due to the trillion variances that exist. This one is a beauty though. Two tone, green, fluted, slate sunburst, oyster.... I'm a huge fan.

But like said everywhere else, buy what you like, and pay no attention to speculation.

Dealers are running off their stock; visited my AD yesterday, he has only 3 DJII's left, all SS and fluted bezels. Pricing is way off list. The version listed here is striking, no doubt it's a Rolex!!

Don’t understand the post, apologies!

This variance was not discontinued in the new DJ41 models... see below configuration from Rolex Canada website.

I could have sworn it was discontinued. Just dug around and found it. I guess I'll delay freaking out . I thought it was only available in a jubilee bracelet now for some reason.

If you want it in the larger sized DJII, now is the time to pick one up. It is a stunner of a watch. I tried one on a year back and it is one nicest TT your gonna find. The green markers have that signature Rolex look.

Yes in 116333 datejust ii format they have been discontinued.

But all and newer variations are available in the newly released datejust 41mm.

For instance the roger federer dial as pictured is available in the smooth bezel along with fluted bezel and bracelet variations of oyster and jubilee.

Rarer dials like the rhodium diamond dial and also available in the datejust 41.

A shame imo
