Think i found my next breitling

While i wait to find the right used Navitimer ..

I think i've found my next breitling.

Haven't found one to try on at an AD yet, hoping that i can find it at the boutique at caesars in las vegas next month (going for the wsop).

Anyone tried on the 42mm superocean 2's? .. what did you think.. did the matte finish work for you? I like the color combos and the cleaner dials.

That looks like a great summer piece. Wish the numbers were a little smaller, but a fun watch nonetheless.

I'm thinking it will be a good side-kick to the yellow Avenger 2 i have -- i love the bright yellow avenger .. but its a bit on the heavy side and has a very thick case ..

The SO should wear much slimmer. Good luck on the hunt, and especially in the World Series!

I like it but it would look much better with no date, in my opinion.

I finally found a complete collection of the 42mm new Superocean 2 at the Caesar's Palace Breitling boutique.

After trying on the white face dial, i was rather underwhelmed by the matte dial once i tried it on, it felt rather lifeless.

But i was suprised by how the orange version looked and wore on the wrist, i am now considering buying the orange version, it has nice eye catching abilities, and goes well with the matte black bezel.

Did you get to try the black version? I am still waiting for them to pop up locally and was considering one as a boat/summer watch. That, or the obvious 300M, but I thought I might give Breitling a shot.

The black version was there, but i did not try it on. -- it wasn't one of the color combinations that i was interested in. the white is a not a bright white, but more of a off-white.

Just an FYI, there will be a yellow dial available as well but it may only be in 44mm.

White and blue goes well, I am aware those are at a solid price point as well. Good choice. Get it!

I can’t wait to see these in person. Anyone seen them at local AD’s yet? Perfect summer watches.

So -- i ended up passing on this for now ... i found the navitimer i was looking for, and spent my watch budget on that .. but there is always more watch budget next year.

a yellow one would be a great addition to this lineup.

solid watch imo.
