I ask myself that almost daily. The answer: various could fit that requirement easily. I'd probably explode if I actually would have to decide that.

If it were to be a Rolex then either a Submariner or GMT. It would be a tough decision.

If you could only wear one watch for the rest of your life what would it be?
16750 for its versatility
Add a couple of inserts and another bracelet.....

I was about to say my 114060 because of versatility but I forgot that I could just turn my 16710 into an all black if I want to be more conservative.
16710. All the functionality I need plus 3 different bezels and I guess I could eventually pick up the jubilee as well. |

Conventional answer is the submariner, my first and only watch for years
I could easily see how a gmt Pepsi could have taken its place if the circumstance was different. Today I would consider the Patek 5940 as an excellent and satisfying daily wear

Very difficult to answer this question. You will need to stop browsing this forum if you do, cos the guys here are such enablers. My choice would be a ceramic daytona.
One big advantage of Rolex is servicing time (about 2 weeks only). |
