!!!!they let me touch it!!!!!

Phillips/Bacs and Russo are currently showcasing Paul Newman's PN Daytona 6239 at a popup in Los Angeles ahead of the historic auction later this month. They will be open today through Saturday. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this and many other rare/mythical/unknown watches in absolutely pristine condition.

I will post more pics of the other incredible lots for sale but first, let's do this

It’s great for charity if I correctly understand where the proceeds will go...but it tugs at my heart a little as he raced with us every March at Road Atlanta and at the ARRC/Runoffs, too. Just conflicted and nostalgic.

But it will undoubtedly set a new record for a vintage Daytona at auction.

Is that a photo of it on your wrist? Very nice regardless!!! Love the engraving!!! As a kid I got to meet his niece a few time, Annie. I was patching a boat with a buddy and cut her by accident with a knife; needless to say she wasn't to happy about it. I was about 15. It was out in West Hampton Beach; she was from Great Neck.
