Sean Connery settles wrist/arm debate
Unless you have been living under a rock, you are aware that the latest meaningless fashionista debate on TRF is whether there is a correct way to wear a wrist watch.
I bears mentioning that, by and large, those that started this debate (a) claim to know the correct way to wear a wrist watch; and (b) advocate wearing it on your arm as opposed to your wrist. Earlier this week I attempted to resolve this dispute by providing an email I received from Rolex HQ advising that there is no correct way to wear a Rolex. If the arm watch proponents had any sense of fair play they would have conceded their loosing hand so to speak and moved on. Yet they persist. To put it mildly, I am disappointed in my fellow WIS. I guess some people truly have no shame. So, I thought to my self, "Self, who is the father of Rolex style? Who made the submariner famous? Who is the undisputed king of watch wearing legend?" You got it. Sean Connery. The one and only. So, I emailed Sean. Old friends we are. And Sean emailed back. "This is outrageous old sport." And Sean sent me the following picture. The most iconic picture of a Rolex in the history of WIS. Hopefully we can consider this matter put to bed.

I'm new to the site but this is a common debate in my circles as well. I have always been one of the Wrist people but often told it's more of an arm thing lol. I'll consider this my proof of being right.
