So they sent you the best watch they had and you are complaining about it?

Can you post regular pictures of the watch and not magnifications of it?

This watch has been around the block and a few buffing wheels one too many times.

Return policy?

Instead of writing to an Internet forum, why not contact the seller, and see how he handles your complaint?
That speaks volumes more than posting here, where the seller isn’t addressed.
Good luck either way.

And let us know how the transaction gets resolved. That’s only fair after posting your side of a two way transaction.

You can tell that by a partial pic of a bezel?

Wouldn't it be worse to have a partially polished bezel than a totally polished bezel...? In any case, the watch being discussed here, for better or worse, had the whole bezel polished as smoothly as the bracelet.

Like I asked before why don't you post regular pics of the watch?

You can still see the lines in the bezel some. Like I mentioned before you seemed like you had pretty wild expectations on such a older watch that was used.

Post like this gives the freedom for someone to trash a company without any info. If BOB gave you pictures like you posted you would have been furious.

How do these trusted sellers refinish their watches? I am sure they do not go back to Rolex before they are listed for sale. Then who does the work?

What is he going to dispute? I can see the call now "Oh I think my bezel might have been slightly polished, can I get a refund?"

You seem to be an employee, or similar, for the vendor. Otherwise, please help yourself and buy from them.

Why the need to stalk my post...?

By the way, I bought the watch for my sister, thus I don’t have it available for pictures. In any case, I have nothing to prove to you. Think, do, say whatever you wish.

In case you suffer an experience similar to mine, we are lucky to have this section to alert others. Or you can stay with Seiko.

I am not an employee and I do not know who they are. But when you are bashing a company you should prove some info. You would expect the same treatment if you were in their shoes. Right?

What would you mention Seiko? Is that a comment trying to devalue my questions? If so then you are thick.

If you think Seiko is a slight, I feel sorry for you. Probably one of the best makes for the money out there...

Not to mention the fact that there are several Seiko models that you couldn't even come close to purchasing/affording if you only had "16570" money.

Is this about employees or people related to dubious vendors going against someone who has posted a legitimate issue...? Or maybe just people with nothing better to do than doing things they only dare doing from the safety of their computers...? Either way what you guys are doing is pretty lowly.

And if someone takes my comment about Seiko as a slight it is because they are projection their own prejudice.

It's a 20 years old steel Rolex. It's probably been serviced and definitely has been polished. Good luck finding an unpolished mint 20 year old five digit, they exist. It's all relative, but tired and old may be overstating it a bit. It's been used, but certainly does not look abused.

Do you have photos of the watch before you bought it?

i just dont understand this desire of people to pay for something without seeing it first, or the idea of sending vast sums to some stranger in the risky hope that the item is as described or actually arrives,

nothing is worth the risk, i am strictly old school and will be staying this way.

In all frankness, its a modern nonsense.

This is why I would not pay via wire transfer. If I were you I would file a dispute with my credit card company.
