Dial is wrong, insert is wrong.

It would take a good look to see if this is even an authentic Rolex.

Sorry, my bad!

I 100% agree in your comments above on OP dial

He told me he's trading it in anyways so no reason for me to say anything to him about it)

So as of now I'm not gonna be reviewing the watch because it has a fake dial

For the person who said "uncle's brothers watch" I think I'm a reputable member of these forums. I've showed watches in my immediate family (Father, Mother, sisters etc) and never have purchased a fake watch or anything of the sort. My account doesn't have 1 post and I wasn't trying to sell this watch. Check my previous posts about finding watches too review that's all I was doing was borrowing my uncles watch (not my uncles brother... which is also my uncle) to review to keep my YouTube account active. Now that I've seen the dial is in bad shape I'm gonna have to skip on it.

Sure I've started crazy threads, but I think I've been posting long enough to not be a "con" on these forums. Again, wasn't selling. Was reviewing.

Thanks everyone for the replies again very helpful

I would be interested in knowing where this was bought in Aventura, FL. International jewelers exchange?

Are you sure that's not your uncle's brother's watch?
I think you meant to say uncle's father

It was this place but at their previous location. It was in "Loehmans Plaza" about 8 years ago? (give or take) they moved to the new location.

New location: International Jewelers Exchange
19275 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL 33180

Old location: Town Center Aventura
18701 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL 33180

Got it. There are several vendors inside of International Jewelers Exchange, so i mean there’s no way of knowing who exactly it is and if that vendor is still around. But that’s crazy. I’ll stay away. Only bought my watches from ADs so far and I might wanna keep it that way because of stuff like this.

Yeah unfortunately you'll never know who is good and who isn't.

For people like my uncle who dont have a good eye for things like this, it's very unfortunate because they get away with selling something that shouldn't be sold and the victim doesn't even know.

I've decided I'm gonna tell my uncle about the watch. I know it'll crush him but I feel bad because I'm probably the only person who noticed and will ever notice. I dont think anyone else will take macro shots of his Rolex to see.

Hopefully, after I tell him, he knows where the guy is who sold it to him and at a minimum I could make a "do not buy from this guy" post to make sure it dont happen to anyone here.

It just sucks cause this watch was purchased many many years ago, I dont think the guy still works at the same place anymore (cant be only my uncle was sold a watch like this. Probably sold quite a few and then jetted out of the area)

It looks, to my relatively untrained eye, that someone with a blue dial TT Sub had it "upgraded" aftermarket with gemstones. The gold surrounding the diamonds appears to take up the exact footprint of the original lume (round, vs. the type of setting Rolex would use) and the "T25" at the bottom suggests that this dial originally had lume, if it was indeed a genuine Rolex dial (or the person creating the fake didn't know what that text indicated and put it on).
