Dial is wrong, insert is wrong.
It would take a good look to see if this is even an authentic Rolex.

Got it. There are several vendors inside of International Jewelers Exchange, so i mean there’s no way of knowing who exactly it is and if that vendor is still around. But that’s crazy. I’ll stay away. Only bought my watches from ADs so far and I might wanna keep it that way because of stuff like this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

For people like my uncle who dont have a good eye for things like this, it's very unfortunate because they get away with selling something that shouldn't be sold and the victim doesn't even know. I've decided I'm gonna tell my uncle about the watch. I know it'll crush him but I feel bad because I'm probably the only person who noticed and will ever notice. I dont think anyone else will take macro shots of his Rolex to see. Hopefully, after I tell him, he knows where the guy is who sold it to him and at a minimum I could make a "do not buy from this guy" post to make sure it dont happen to anyone here. It just sucks cause this watch was purchased many many years ago, I dont think the guy still works at the same place anymore (cant be only my uncle was sold a watch like this. Probably sold quite a few and then jetted out of the area) Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk |

It looks, to my relatively untrained eye, that someone with a blue dial TT Sub had it "upgraded" aftermarket with gemstones. The gold surrounding the diamonds appears to take up the exact footprint of the original lume (round, vs. the type of setting Rolex would use) and the "T25" at the bottom suggests that this dial originally had lume, if it was indeed a genuine Rolex dial (or the person creating the fake didn't know what that text indicated and put it on).
