Fendi watch are they any good ?!

I'm thinking about buying a Fendi watch. I noticed that they are Swiss made watches.. I'm just wondering if any one here on this forum has ever owned a Fendi watch if you ever had any trouble with it before? I'm thinking about getting the stainless steel one because you can polish it when needed. But there is also one in two tone with gold PVD with 5 micro coating. That I really. I'm only going to buy just one.

Thank you

Are they reliable ? Do they keep good time ? I'm so it isn't as good as a Rolex.

It is a fashion brand with no watch history at all
They buy these Watches and put their name on it but it could have any brand name on the dial.
Armani Watches, fendi, ....
A no go for me
The are not expensive but a Tissot is imo much more interesting and at leest tissot is a real watch with an impressive history.

Thank you. I really just like the watch because of the rectangle shape of the watch.

May I suggest a Seiko 6119-5000? Seiko has an incredible history of horological innovation and reliability. Gotta go with your instincts though; if you are jonesing for the Fendi then go for it.

Plenty of solid brands make square and rectangle watches; I'd save your money and put it towards one of those. For descent priced ones (especially used), I'd look at:

Cartier Tank
JLC Reverso (classique or taille if you dont want a large one)
Nomos Tetra

Thank you. I've heard of the Cartier Tank it's on my wish list. I love that watch in the large size.

Thank you for the tips. I other reason I want the Fendi watch is and they may sound really silly. Because you rarely see anyone with a Fendi watch. One while it was on sale at $689. This watch has a low profile.

I'm sure there are. I see them popup every now and then for sale here and on ebay (male sure you buy the seller). The good news is that you can find good discounts on even new ones.

My wife wanted one of the Crazy Carats Fendi's until I told her how much they were and what the resale was on them. She then just went with a Michael Koors and when the rose gold coating rubs off she will buy a new one.

So, you're saying don't spend too much over $3,000 dollars?
TIA

Think he meant $300 meaning that he is not impressed.

I would say that if you have it narrowed down to a model, post up pics and what it will cost. I think that at the right price you are fine with anything you really like. But the right price is different on every piece.

Just know that you are buying a fashion watch that does not have a huge amount of horological history.

Never would I buy a fashion watch, I prefer a Seiko of Tissot if to go for a cheap watch, at least they have horological history...

Probably worth going for an established watch brand, nothing wrong with a Fendi watch, but I wouldn't spend more than $400-500 on it, otherwise I'd spend a bit more to get a real watch brand, something that has a long standing enduring design.

A few that have been mentioned, like Cartier and JLC Reverso, also I'd recommend a look at the Tag Hauer Monaco

I ordered it last night. I paid 495.00 plus tax for it and got free shipping, too. Thanks guys. Now next to save up for the Cartier and a Rolex.

If you've a Cartier lined up as the next purchase, make it the Santos 100/100 XL instead of the Tank.
Personally, I think it's just nicer than the Tank.

Yeah, you want a not expensive watch get a Seiko or Tissot, they are good value and both have a different but real horological history

I bought a Fendi watch in 1998 for about 600 bucks. Is it good? Sure, it's quartz and it still works. Its never been serviced. I gave it away to a friend he wears it all the time.

It won't hold any value and most likely you'll eventually give it away to a friend because you won't be able to sell it for more than 25 -50 bucks.
