A daily and occasional 2 watch collection- what’s your choice?

Hi all,

I am fortunate enough to have a large varied collection of great timepieces but I could be happy with just these 2. They are from fantastic manufacturers, in house movements, rare in the wild and are sublime.

A 38.5mm rose gold Lange 1 moon phase and 41mm titanium Zenith Defy Classic.

Which 2 could work for you?

Love that Zenith! I’m thinking of getting one with the bracelet. Such an underrated piece. Cheers!

It is superb! I have the blue rubber strap for it as well and may also add the titanium bracelet. The dial really pops and is a very underrated timepiece which is so comfortable on the wrist - a perfect daily wear.

For me (only two watches)... Probably and Explorer and a Reverso. That's what I think today anyway. Tomorrow, who knows..

Those look great!

I'm pretty new into collecting watches but I am fortunate enough to currently own a couple of "common" pieces that I enjoy.

I'm very happy with my Datejust (126200) and my Omega Seamaster 300m (latest model on rubber).

Wow, beautiful duo ! You definitely have it covered.

For me, I have the same watch, just different dial colors for now. Breitling Superoceans. I will be adding something different hopefully by the end of this summer.

IWC Mark XV on bracelet for daily and Patek 3998P (or, less likely, 5711 blue) for special.

This year, I set a goal to downsize my collection, currently at 15 pieces. I am not making any progress but discovered I can get very creative making internal justifications that prevent downsizing activity.

Much respect for those that can narrow the field to two watches, even if only in theory. I hope to one day arrive at the same spot

Beautiful duo!

I'd probably go with an Explorer II for daily and a JLC Master of some sort for work/dress occasions.

I currently do not own either of those but I pine...

I completely understand- also have a similar sis collection and it is so difficult to sell but easy to buy. Some really get very little wrist time but they all tell a story and I must have some emotional connection with them even though they are just watches! Or maybe I am very greedy!

For daily wear, a Submariner Date. For occasional wear, a Laurent Ferrier Galet Micro-Rotor.
