Partner NOW wants a Rolex!

I have purchased my first two Rolex’s within a couple of months from each other. Before acquiring my second I asked if she wanted one for her 50th, he answer was NO.....
UP UNTIL YESTERDAY, she changed her mind and now wants one. I solely created the monster by taking her with me to the ADs to pick mine up.
What are your thoughts on the New OP 34 with green dial? She has small wrists and I don’t want the watch to completely over power her wrist.
Insights would be great (NOT HER WRIST IN PICTURE)

That looks pretty good on her wrist. Love the green dial on that too. I think 34 is a great size if she is looking for something with a more modern look. Someone else posted a pic of their wife with a 31mm datejust which I thought looked very classy. Still a bit more modern than 26mm but elegant nonetheless.

Haha my wife isn't a huge watch person - which I often think that could be a good thing for our wallets. :)

That’s not her wrist but it is similar to hers. And trust me one watch for her means one lesss for me

What does SHE want?? I would go with what she likes. Otherwise she won’t be happy with it!

She likes the OP green 34, I just thought maybe I should go a little higher was a DJ36. She definitely wants color on the dial

That looks great on her, think my best option is to take her with me instead of trying to surprise her

^^This, please, a million times this. Visit the AD together once more, and let her choose what sings to her. -Rick.

Agree -

And it’s more memorable to have her experience the proper presentation and selection process.

Mine is more than happy with her Michele which was the first gift I ever bought her. I did get her a Birkin and a Black Boy Bag so not much savings there.

Might consider a good condition 114270? Not that different from the OP but a little more of the sports vibe if that’s her taste.

Being of comparable age, I also ask myself these days prior to any watch purchase...”can I see myself wearing this while in assisted living”.

She has a Michele Watch and I think she also owns stock in LV bags at this point
