Do Dr.’s where Rolex?

This guy sure does! For the cover of a local magazine.

Maybe in the states where healthcare is privatized but I've never seen a doctor nor a specialist wear a Rolex in montreal.

Two of my ER docs do. One Sub date, one Hulk. I'm a nurse and wear a Sub no date, and one of my colleagues who is a paramedic wears a Sea-Dweller.

Our veterinary doctor wears an older Sub. Somehow i like and trust him a little bit more for it. That and the fact that he looks after both our dogs as if they were his own.

Do Dr.’s where Rolex?

My cousin is a surgeon. He wears a g-shock. His hobby is cycling. Another MD cousin doesn’t care for watch. They have other priorities in life.

It doesn’t matter what type of profession.

The man on the cover of the magazine is a “doctor,” but not a physician. He is a PhD.

Being a gastroenterologist myself, I have many physician friends and I would say that an equal minority of them wear Rolex or are into watches, equal to the general public.

I do not think the profession has anything to do with the watch.

I do not wear a Rolex yet, but I plan to...

Not gonna lie I had to read the title over and over to understand it. I thought it was something about Dr. Do's Rolex.

My Dr. wears a lady datejust.

I remember years ago I went for a check up by a new doctor, and I thought I noticed him wearing a Daytona. Once I got a better look, he was actually wearing an Invicta! I know it sounds crazy but I refused the check up and walked out. Maybe it was stupid but I believe someones watch gives a glimpse of that persons decision making and character. My current doc wears a 5 dig bluesey sub.

I have known a lot of MDs who wear Rolex watches. Only a couple of the ones I knew were WISs. Most of them received them as gifts from their spouses.

I've never heard that the Rolex isn't meant for doctors. So of course, they can wear a nice dial.

Would you prefer an investment thread?

Or seeing someone enjoying their watch?

My doctor has a yg presidential with the factory green diamond dial and bezel he bought in Switzerland when he was younger. I don’t think he even knows what it’s worth today haha

My Cardiologist wears a Datejust that he received as a gift from a patient.
My son wears an OP39 that he recently received from his Dad.

My wife wears a 1983 vintage TT Ladies-Date. One of her doctors wears a smaller Date-Just (my wife calls it a mini men's model). The first time he saw my wife's watch, his comment was "I hope you know how much it costs to get repaired."
