I went on the list on Baselworld release day - within minutes of the new watches being confirmed. So I guess that is about six months or so of waiting?

It’s also going to depend on your dealer and how well of a relationship you have. Has this dealer been good to you in the past?? Did he mention how many of these he has received?? This is good data points for location.

I have spent a fair bit with this AD over the years - but I am by no means a huge roller! It is a really nice AD. I think they have appreciated that I have bought watches from them over the years that are not popular and which I could have bought elsewhere for less. The Patek Calatrava springs to mind - whilst I have clearly lost a lot of money on that watch, I gained a lot of goodwill. I have also bought an OP, two Datejusts and a couple of Tudors. Then they progressed me to a TT Submariner, and from there I seem to have half a chance of getting a "hot" watch. This was the 3rd BLNR they have received since Baselworld I believe, so 2 clients were looked after ahead of me (and I doubt they put their request in as quickly as I did on Baselworld day!).

Great follow up info. I know in the UK the Rolex climate has been extremely tough for many years.

I count 13 Rolex and 3 PP in your signature, you’re a huge roller in my eyes! :)
